If you haven't heard, we now have audio profiles. Upload yours today. You can also rate and review the profiles of others. This feature is in beta, so let us know if you hvae any problems.
I was going to do mine, but from whatit says, you have to have skype to do it, and I don't think skype would work for me, because I have only 98 mb of ram, and 200 mhz processor speed.
it was neat listening to other profiles though.

Where does it say that? I think you're mixing things up. The upload your audio profile link is on the top of the edit profile page.
well, when i entered on it, it said you recommended skype, but will try it again.

Ok, how do I do this? i went to it, and it said upload profile, and put me in an edit field, but there are no instructions on how to upload one, so what do I do?

Thanks feeble feob, I was beginning to think I was the only one who didn't know how to do it. if someone doesn't give instructions soon, I'm going to just give up on the whole thing.

You tab one more time after the edit field and there will be a browse button you hit to select the file to upload. One problem I had was that I couldn't get the result page to come up after trying to upload it. I'd click to upload it and wait and wait and wait, being on a dialup connection, and then it would say "this page cannot be displayed" and I'd go back to the zone home page and hear my audio profile and it was all chopped up and not complete.
but do you have to record it first? i could do it with sound recorder, or simple mp3 maker, but there isn't anywhere that it says, record your audio profile. and when i do tab to the browse button, it only lists 3 files of type, it only lists 3, html, all types, or something like that, and I forget what the third one, but neither one says mp3 or wav.

You need to make one on your computer (like in sound recorder like you said) and save it, then upload it from where you saved it.
How do you rate the audio profiles? I don't have the equipment to do an audio profile, but I have listened to the ones that are there so far and would like to rate them.
The rate feature is on the page where you are listening to an audio profile. I'll write up some better instructions soon. That's why we do this stuff in beta. Thanks for the questions. We'll do what we can to make things easier.

Ok... OK... I know where to view the rates. The problem is that i did the profile with my voice tallking and I didn't get any result . I got an error in procesing. I tryed to do it again, did another file and another error. The file was 30 secounds long, so I don't know why there is that error.
So I cannot post anything
when I try to upload my audio profile, and I put the right file in and everything, and it says "error!" and then it says "there was a problem with your upload." I can't make it upload!
I'm having the same problem, maybe I'll just do something with dectalk and make it sing, and use that as my audio profile. It's driving me Crazy! I can't upload it, and I've tryed .wav, and .mp3, and both didn't work! I, need, someone, to, look, at, it, a, s, a, p! Thank you. Src333. P.s. good luck in fixing the problem. What's the exact error message you get? Maybe a problem on our end. Or you can Email me the file, and I can try to uplaod it to see if there's a problem with the system.
It's there was a problem uploading your audio profile. I've tryed two different file types allready, and gotten that error message. I guess I'll have to embed one of them into a web page, and try to upload that... Ok, here Goes Everything! Oh, and my email doesn't alow me to send attachments more then one mb in size. But, I'll try and send them to you. What's your email address, and where can I find it.

Hi all,
I was able to get my profile up but I have been unable to listen to the ones that others have done. I give it several minuts to load, and I am on DSL so this should've been plenty of time.
Anyone know why I might be having this problem?

This is just a stab in the dark, but you may not have a multi-channeled soundcard.

If you were getting an error about your file not being in .wav or .mp3 format, but it really was, try uploading it again. We just fixed a problem that was preventing some users from uploading profiles.
